Temporary Colors
The color molecules are deposited on the outside of the cuticle. They are large molecules so therefore will not penetrate the cuticle layer. They do not alter the natural hair color, but only coat the hair.
They will not cover white hair and will not lighten the hair.

Semi-permanent molecules are able to slightly penetrate the hair shaft.
Generally does not contain ammonia. They will blend grey hair, so long as it is below 30/35%.

Demi Permanent is a permanent hair color except a lower developer is used.
The alkaline agents used in a demi permanent are less effective when it comes to removing the natural pigment.

Permanent color is able to transform the natural color of the hair.
It is permanent and will not wash out. Will grow out leaving the natural hair color to come through at the root area.

Foils
When having foils you are able to add different colors to the hair.
By weaving or taking slices of hair.
You can have lowlights which is darker colors than you all ready have.
Or you can have highlights to add lighter pieces to the hair.
You can have an all over color then also add some highlights.
Maybe to just brighten up your face.
Balayage
This is free hand painting on the hair.
Will give you a sun kissed look.
Ombre
This is also free hand painting to give you a sun kissed look around the bottom of the hair.
Dimensional Color
This is were we use color block techniques around the head for different dimensions.
Color Correction
You may have made mistakes with your hair color and it requires a professional to achieve the result that you want.
